Recently my sister bought for me my first Tapout t-shirt for Christmas. This was a much anticipated day for me because I had wanted one for sometime but had never purchased one. Olympic Weightlifting
Over the holiday weekend I went with my brother-in-law to his gym that he attends on a daily basis. The name of the gym is The Lab Gym. They have all the amenities of a full sized big name gym but the down home good people of a smaller more personable gym. My brother-in-law is training for Olympic Weight lifting. Justin Thacker is the owner and trainer of the gym training my brother-in-law and aiding him how ever he can as well as setting up competitions whenever they are available.
Olympic Weightlifting is a whole new realm of working out, I had never experienced Olympic Weightlifting before and was quite amazed by the power and technique that goes into the training and preparation of this amazing sport.
For the first time ever I tried a squat with an Olympic Weightlifting bar. The bar itself weighs 45lbs I added another 10lbs of plate weights and from there tried to do the squat. With a little assistance from my brother-in-law and a great trainer from The Lab, I think that i have learned the basics of the squat and will from this point on incorporate this into my weekly workout regimen. Crazy Martial Arts Video

Cutting Workouts
Today I was searching the internet for some more good tips on fitness and weight-loss. I found a site called " Muscle and Strength" It has good information on cutting. The terminology "cutting" refers to losing weight with cardio and weight training, and a small adjustment in your diet (cut your daily caloric intake by 500) this will aid in you dropping the LB's.
